Dogs are the best!

In my essay, I will tell you why I think dogs make better pets than cats. Have you heard about the dogs who can save people? It would be very cool to have one of those dogs. One reason why [dogs make better pets than cats] is because most cats can’t play most games. Another reason why is because dogs don’t have as sharp claws. One more reason why is because is dogs are home more.

Cats have sharp claws because cats claws are a lot harder to cut, but dogs claws are easier to cut. So dogs claws most of the time are not as long and sharp.

Most cats can’t play most games like chase. Games are fun. Most of the time cats don’t play fetch and they can’t smell as good as dogs so it is hard for them to find things by smelling them. But Dogs can!

Dogs are home more than cats. So people who have dogs get to play with their dogs more than people who have cats get to play with their cats. Sometimes cats are outside all night.

Dogs can be taught more tricks, like hunting or swimming. Dogs can save lives and be watch dogs. Also, they can help the police by smelling things. If there is a bomb dogs will smell it and tell you by barking.
