Configuring the Repeater (Aztech HL556E) :

1. Connect the WL556E to a power outlet.

2. Connect an Ethernet cable from your PC Ethernet port to the Ethernetport at the base of the WL556E.

3. To change the computers IP address in Windows 7, type network andsharing into the Search box in the Start Menu and select Network and

Sharing Center when it comes up.

4. Then when the Network and Sharing Center opens, click on Changeadapter settings.

5. Right-click on your Local Adapter and select Properties.

6. In the Local Area Connection Properties window highlight InternetProtocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) then click the Properties button.

7. Select Use the following IP address:and the key in 10.0.10.123asthe IP address and 255.0.0.0 for the Subnet mask.Leave the other fields

blank.

8. Click the OK to commit the settings and close out of the Local AreaConnections Properties window.

9. To access the web GUI , Launch your web browser and input10.0.10.254 on the address bar.

10.Input admin for username and input admin for password.Click the OKbutton.

11.Click on the Auto Setup button. This will show the available wirelessnetworks that are in range of the WL556E.

NOTE :

If you are connecting to a hidden wireless network, you need to go

through the Manual Setup and key-in the information from your

existing wireless router /AP manually. Also un-tick the Broadcast SSID

option so your wireless network can remain hidden.

12.Click the Connect button located on the right side of the wirelessnetwork you want to connect to . Click Refresh if you don t see your

wireless SSID on the list.

13.Input the current wireless network key/passphrase .Click the Applybutton to commit the changes.

14.Close the Web browser and power down the WL556E15.Plug the WL556E to a power outlet at the identified location.16.Power up the WL556E. You may now use your wireless devices such as

laptops, smartphones , etc. with the Repeater.

*After finish all setting , please come back the Step 7 , Select Obtain an IP address automatically
