Azalea ‘Irish Cream’ (Holly Springs type) Use: Perfect as a low growing hedge or in a shady spot in the landscape. It works well in many garden settings including woodland plantings, mixed borders, and con- tainers. Exposure/Soil : Part shade. Moist, well-drained soil, but not soggy. Please amend the soil if you have red clay. Growth : Moderate grower to 3 to 4 ft. tall and 2 to 4ft. wide. Wide spreader. Hardiness : 6-9; shrub Foliage : Evergreen. Green leaves. Flower : The flowers are white and very large (in the 3" to 4" range) in mid-spring. Each flower has a greenish yellow blotch in the throat. Large white flowers.
