  • What is Modern Medicine The Definition of medicine, as the drug companies want us to believe, is any chemical substance intended for use in the cure, treatment, or prevention of disease. Medicines do help you, but they bring so many side effects with them which makes you want to take more medicines with more side effects. 3 Gokul bhajan & Vedic studies - Adithya Balaji

  • Side-effects of medicine The funny thing about medicines is that they all have so many possible side effects that create so many more problems to solve just one!! What is the point of a medicine that causes so many more problems to solve one. Heres a secret: the pharmaceutical companies dont want to cure your problems, they just suppress them for a while, then cause more problems for you so you keep coming back to them for more cures. 4 Gokul bhajan & Vedic studies - Adithya Balaji

  • The difference between Ayurveda & Medicine Think of it like this: Your body is a pot of water over a fire and you want to get rid of the burning sensation which is your problem or disease. Modern Medicines dont try to put out the fire but do this instead, they put ice cubes in the water which gives short term relief but no matter how much ice you put inside it is still going to melt away. Ayurvedic medicine slowly puts out the fire with water one small cups at a time. Even though it isnt fast it totally gets rid of the problem. Ayurveda tries to treat the person, but modern medicine tries to treat the disease or tries to treat the symptom. 10 Gokul bhajan & Vedic studies - Adithya Balaji
