ECOLINC EXCURSION
Yesterday some of our Grade 3 students had a great excursion to the Ecolinc Science & Technology Centre
in Bacchus Marsh.
The students were able to learn about the
geographical features of the local
Lerderderg Gorge and the dinosaurs that
once roamed the area. They learnt about
the rock formations in the area and the
timeline associated with their creation.
Lastly, donning their palaeontology tool
belts and genuine Indiana Jones leather
hats, they themselves learnt how to
uncover fossilised mega fauna and
discovered 3 different skeletons.
Emily, Steffi, Charlotte, Belle, Grace,
Rachel and Sam D are pictured here
uncovering the fossils.
LEAF COLLECTING
Kamryn and Mrs. E were very busy yesterday collecting leaves
of different shapes, sizes, colours and textures.
Kamryn worked really hard to complete his leaf poster. His
favourite leaf was the red one in the middle.
