What is BikePark Wales?

Everyone’s heard of mountain biking but what’s a bike park?

The concept is simple, picture a ski resort, remove the snow and replace the pistes with an array of sweeping flowy bike trails meandering to the bottom of the mountain and you are close. Add a bunch of adrenalin and big sprinkle of fun and you are pretty much there.

From beginner mountain bikers through to seasoned downhill pro’s, we offer an incredible experience unlike anything else in the UK. We have the longest beginner and intermediate graded descents in the UK offering unbelievable fun and a perfect opportunity for riders to progress their skills. With over 40 trails to choose from even the best riders will spend several blissfully adrenaline filled days exploring our hugely diverse trail network.

In addition to our huge trail network we also have a 7 day a week uplift service. Our fleet of mini buses will transport you quickly, safely and comfortably to 491m, the top of our mountain, Mynydd Gethin. You will be dropped off at the very top of the hill right next to the start of our trails.

All that remains to do is select your route and whoop and holler your way back to the bottom of the mountain in time to catch the next lift up.

Here at BikePark Wales we have everything that you’ll need to come and enjoy your mountain biking experience. From industry leading bikes to all the protective equipment you’ll need, we have it covered!

We have teamed up with Trek and Shimano to provide our customers with the best range of rental bikes available, we take pride in having possibly the best fleet of rental bikes in the UK. Each bike has not only been hand picked to suit a certain type of rider/trail, we have also modified the specs by adding Shimano drivetrains and brakes for ultimate performance.

All of our bikes are professionally maintained by our top mechanics to ensure they are in tip top condition for your enjoyment.

How much will it cost?

Here at BikePark Wales we have three packages for you to choose from, beginner, intermediate or bespoke. The key details of each are set out below for you but if you have any questions don’t hesitate to get in touch and our team can help you get everything sorted.

1. Beginner Level Package

Our beginner level package is designed for those who are new to the world of mountain biking. Everything you and your team will need is provided and our professional mountain hosts will be with you and your group every step of the way. They will introduce you to the sport, give some fundamental tips and advice, help everyone get kitted up and guide you through your ride on the mountain. This package will primarily focus on our beginner level green trails to give everyone an authentic introduction to mountain biking without scaring everyone silly!

2. Intermediate Level Package

Our intermediate package is designed for those who have been mountain biking before and are looking to explore our blue, red and possibly even black trails.

Each bike included with this package has not only been hand picked to suit our intermediate and advanced trails, we have also modified the specs by adding Shimano drivetrains and brakes for ultimate performance.

3. Bespoke Package

Not all of your team may have a similar level of experience or you may be looking to add something special to your team’s experience. From a simple BBQ and Beers to a fully exclusive custom experience for groups in excess of 100.
