TESTS FOR SLUDGE
Some of the tests are needed to find out the behaviour of the Sludge, materials and Germs mixed with Sludge.
Sludge properties are changed depends upon the type of Plant (ie) Leather tanuries, Chemical Industries, Canteen wastes etc..,
TYPES OF TEST
Viscosity Test Filterability Test Biological Test .etc…,
VISCOSITY TEST
Viscosity is directly proportional to the Concentration of the Sludge.
If the Viscosity of the Sludge is High means the Concentration of the Sludge is High.
It will reduce the Dewatering ability.
FILTERABILITY TEST
It is performed by using Filter Paper. It’s mesh is similar to the membrane
BIOLOGICAL TEST
It is used to find out what type of germs bacterias available in the Sludge.
