AVANTGARDE (www.avantgardesrl.net) is an Italian company specializing in the
provision of services for the overhauling, modernization, upgrade and heavy repairs of
track maintenance machinery.
Established in 2003, Avantgarde has developed its activities building on the 20 years
experience of its founder, who has refined and developed in the company, the
engineering skills, service know-how, overhauling capability and works capacity.
Avantgarde today, has long established relationships and operates successful
commercial agreements worldwide in a number of countries including Saudi Arabia,
Australia, Malaysia, Egypt, Algeria, South Africa, Venezuela and Argentina.

Avantgarde with headquarter in Bari (Italy), employs 30 specialists (managers, engineers, project management crews, service & overhauling team ) and has a worldwide reference in service, repair, overhaul, location and provision of used track maintenance vehicles. Avantgarde maintenance service covers every aspect of mechanical, electric & electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, software & systems, engineering specific software & solutions performed by skilled technicians. The Know-how and commitment allow to offer to our customers an efficient, dynamic and quality service. The company has even designed and developed diagnostic and measuring systems either on-board machine or for infrastructures.

Avantgarde’s new premise is situated in Bari
Industrial District, on a 12,500 Sq meters area,
out of which 4,500 Sq meters in the indoor
workshop and offices.
The workshop is fully refurbished and supplied
with necessary tools and equipments for repair
and overhauling of track maintenance
machineries.
The area is directly linked by railway to the
logistic center and to Bari Port.

Track geometry measurement system fitted on track maintenance machines, is aimed at supporting railway operators in the recording of track geometric parameters such as:

R.M.M is designed for the management and control of railway machines,
with particular attention to the monitoring of operations and localization. The main task is the Alert system which warns on fuel level, low pressure,
engine temperature, low battery and other relevant information as the event occurs.
The status of the machine is constantly shown on remote operator monitor. The system stores all data, so as to create an historical database of the
events. The system, through a GPRS device, sends data to a server for storage into
a database. All stored data and functions of the system are also configurated for web application.
