Avano principles
Avano was launched in september 2006. It is
available at : http://www.ifremer.fr/avano/
A part of the system is based on the University of Illinois Open Archives Initiative Metadata Harvesting Project
The publication web site and the filtering system is an Ifremer In-House developement
It handles marine ressources but also freshwater ressources (rivers, lakes, ground waters, drinking water treatment, ...)
