The origin of Astrology is unknown. It is also not known as to when it commenced to be practiced in India and other countries.

There is a mention about planetary positions at the time of birth of Lord Rama in the epic Ramayana, said to be penned first by Sage Valmiki.

The year of birth of lord Rama, according to many software programs, goes to BC 5114.

However, over eras and centuries, Astrology is termed and considered as a subject and object of belief by a particular religion. It is misunderstood and mis-conceptualized as a subject of superstition or fatalism by many in the modern world too.

It was reported by an astro friend that a baby was born on 22 Apr 2012 at 05-00 a.m. at Banda, India, but unfortunately died little later. But from the point of view of birth time rectification, the exact time of birth should be 4-58-35 a.m., as against the given time of 5-00 a.m. Using the free JHora, this is arrived at by adjusting the time, say: 01) Lagna cuspal sub lord is Venus. 02) 09th cuspal sub lord is Moon. 03) Moon is in the star of Venus in Aries (Bharani). 04) Hence there is link between lagna (this birth) and 09 (last birth) cuspal sub lord. But according to experience we have until now, 3rd house do not any role in deciding longevity. Houses 01, 05 and 09 are punya houses. Houses 03, 06, 10 and 11 are progressive houses. Houses 11, 09, 07 are badhaka houses for chara, sthira, dual houses respectively. So, 9th house as badhaka for sthira lagna, which has to be removed from punya houses when longevity is deciphered. Sthira lagna are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. But 11th house is badhaka for all moveable or chara lagna, which are Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Houses 02 and 07 are maraca houses. This is because 07 negates 08 and 03 negates 02. But in my humble experience maraca houses do not much more stronger say in deciding death, except in some typical cases. Longevity shall also be good if connected to progressive houses without linking to badhaka. Indeed badhaka plays a prominent role in longevity and death. Mr. Gandhi was born with Capricorn Asc. Unfortunately, Mr. Gandhi was killed at around 7-45 a.m. on 23 Jun 1980 at New Delhi, during the VMD of Moon-Mercury-Venus-Saturn-Rahu through an air plane accident.

Mars and 06th indicates injury. 8th house stands for accident, when linked to Mars and 01, 06. DBAS of Moon-Mercury-Venus-Sat-Rahu ran at time of accident and death. Moon is lord of 07 (maraca). It is in 08th house (longevity or accident—if linked to 1, 6 and Mars). Moon is in star of Ketu. Ketu occupies 11, which is badhka for Capricorn Asc. Hence dasha lord Moon signifies 7 (maraca), 8 (accident, longevity), badhaka. Bhukti lord Mercury signifies 6 (cuts and wounds). 06th house can be any other signification too. But cuts or wounds are taken, since Mars is aspecting 06th house. Mercury denotes air plane, being the winged messenger. Also Ketu is in Scorpio shall signify Mars. It is conjunct with Mer. So Mars and Mercury result Ketu gives. Antara lord Venus is lord of 5 (joy). Indeed Mr. Gandhi was on a joy ride on that fateful day. Venus is in an airy sign (air related). It is in karaka for vehicle. Venus is in star of Jupiter in Libra (Visakha), who signifies 3 (short journey). Jupiter is in an airy sign. So short journey by air is indicated Sookshma lord Sat signifies 01 (self, or body). It is lord of 2 (maraca). It is in 07 (maraca). It is aspected by Mars from 12th house. The signifying bodies of 08th house are Sun, Moon and Nodes (Rahu and Ketu). All of them are linked to badhaka house viz. 11th. Native died in the 34th year, which awarded just beginning of madhaya aayu or at the end of alpa aayu. Almost all planets are linked to badhaka house. This situation can reduce longevity to alpa aayu, when 08 is weak as seen above. Native lived upto this age because of Jupiter and Venus are posited in Jupiter’s star, Visakha, in Libra. CHRISTIAN PALMISTRY

The majority of emails that get sent to a palmist usually run something like this, 'I have a line near my thumb that runs right across what does it mean'? please understand you cannot take any one line in isolation and read accurate data from it, you have to balance every line together, the whole hand category, psychological type and zodiac sign for total results, its not simple, and if you look at hands bear in mind the old medical motto only to diagnose by 'sign and symptom' and not just by one line alone.
