the Randle
10.00 am Board the Randle at her mooring Auxerre, coffee, tea and fresh croissants served on-board.
10.15 am The Randle departs for first lock of seven that will make our cruise along the river Yonne.
12 noon Stop for lunch at the pretty riverside village of Vaux for a three course fait maison gourmet lunch including a premier-cru wine.
1.30 pm The Randle continues to its afternoon mooring at Bailly, arrival time around 2.30pm.
In the afternoon pick from one of the three following options:
Wine TourTake a guided visit of the famous Cave de Bailly where eight million bottles of Cremant de Bourgogne are in production, or visit the pretty wine villages of Irancy and Chitry where families have produced wine since Roman times.
Cycle TourTake a mountain bike tour through the vineyards of Irancy and Bailly. (requires a degree of cycling fitness)
Afternoon CruiseStay aboard the Randle and take a leisurely afternoon cruise back to Auxerre.
