Throughout this unusual year we have been able to use the changed pace of work in our Amsterdam studio to take the time to play with our creative imaginations, experiment further

with new designs and welcome more members to our team.

In addition to expanding our ever-growing collections of beetles, butterflies, birds, fish and masks, we developed a new collection of wall art with our stylist Ines Beeftink. Ines has long used paper cut-outs of plant motifs to create the beautiful settings for our product photos. We found that these backdrops complemented our collections so well that they deserved a

place of their own in our catalogue. They have now been turned into pop-out flowers, leaves, seaweed and wreaths, inviting people to create their own wall settings, styled according to

their imagination.

With this year’s fresh energy, we also created a complete new line of products under the name Atelier Toit, a collection of unique wooden decorative pieces inspired by

our Studio ROOF collections that have been given a new and unexpected conceptual twist. This collection is designed, cut, hand-assembled and painted in our studio in Amsterdam.

As always, our cardboard and paper products continue to be made with recycled material and printed with vegetable inks; and with every design, each year a tree is planted to offset carbon emissions. Care for the earth means care for humans too, so we continue to donate 5% of our

Christmas collection turnover to the Indian children’s charity Karm Marg.

We are happy to say that thanks to the whole Studio ROOF family, we have emerged from this period to bring once more extra colour and beauty to the world!
