Vauxhall VX 220 Turbo GT3 race car built for British GT
Very little use, built from a new car in 2003 and used 2004. 3 Podium finishes. Built by Colin Blower Motorsport for Colin Blower and Dan Eagling.
This car was built regardless of cost and has larger turbo fitted water cooler and a four branch manifold, modified camshafts, larger injectors, arrow con rods, dry sump lubrication, variable boost and a touring car type of sequential 6 speed gearbox (x trac). It was built with Vauxhalls blessing and is probably unique in as far as I know.
Being the only one built to this specification and I am told is eligible for GT CUP. With approx 300bhp and weighing just over 825 klsit is a tremendous car to drive and should be competitive. It holds 100 litres of fuel and has a pit to car radio fitted .It has three sets of wheels with one set mounted with Dunlop wets, the rest have Dunlop Slicks mounted.
It has air jacks and massive brakes, and the suspension was widened by the maximum the rules would allow along with centrelocking wheels. The car is little used and looks great with Iittle wing extensions. A demisting system was made for the car.
The engine is relatively little used. Car cost to build 130k +.

You will be expected to maximise revenue from the whole Autosport client universe whilst
actively seeking new business. You will be expected to achieve a consistent rate of at least 20
effective sales calls per day, and a min. of 50 calls per day.

FAN VILLAGEThe British Grand Prix weekend was a classic: the
race was a thriller, Lewis Hamilton delivered a home
victory – and even the British weather was (mostly)
fi ne. Glorious sunshine meant a great atmosphere for
the fans camping at Silverstone, and particularly those
staying in the F1 Racing Fan Village at Whittlebury
Park, sponsored by Yas Marina Circuit.
The Fan Village was buzzing all week, with activities
including a falconry display, henna hand painting, and
the YasSPA and YasGAMES ZONE at the Abu Dhabi
Fanzone. On the way to the circuit every morning,
fans could grab free coffee and pastry from the
YasCAFE – and pick up an ice cream on their way back.
Evening entertainment included the F1 Racing Pub Quiz
hosted by Sky Sports F1’s David ‘Crofty’ Croft, and on
Saturday night fans belted out their favourite songs
accompanied by a live band at Rockaoke.
Free YasWiFi helped fans keep up to date with the
latest action, and their best tweets were displayed
on the Twitter Wall on the big screen – when it wasn’t
showing tennis from Wimbledon or a selection of fi lms.
There were plenty of competitions for everyone to
enter, with some great prizes on offer provided by the
Yas Marina Circuit.

Last weekend we saw Radical at Snetterton, and British GT at Spa, separately battling it
out in the fight to the top of the Sunoco Challenge standings. With less than half of the
season left, British GT3's Jonny Adam finally managed to knock former leader Alex Sims
off the top spot of the Sunoco Whelen Challenge standings and for now, until at least the
next rounds in August, he can enjoy a two-point lead. But can he hold onto this Sunoco
Whelen Challenge lead for the rest of the season? Watch this space...
