1. IntroductionElectrical Research and Development Association (ERDA) is engaged in testing
activities of various kinds of transformers. ERDA performs no of testing like High
Voltage, Shot Circuit, Di-electrical, Meter Error Reading and others.
To reducing the time and eliminating the errors in a report generation process,
Applitech Infotech has developed the automated reports generation system for High
Voltage Testing Division. To capturing a automatic data in a testing accuracy class
system provides the online solution by integrating with excel files.
This document describes the specifications and features of our application software.
Also shall apply to implement the automated report generation system with in thedepartment or an organization.
2. System Overview
2.1 System Login ModuleThe user logs onto the computer terminal using the windows login information
provided to the user. After logging onto the terminal, he/she will open the web
browser and go to the login page of Automated Report Generation System.
The user will enter the username and password information in the login window of an
application home page. The user will only have access to screens for the systemdepending on the users access rights. Admin users will have access to all screens. A
screen shot of the application login page is shown below:
After successful login by the user, based on the access previllages, a Menu pageavailable to the user.

User can change his/her password by logged into the account by default password. On
click of Change Password following screen is available to the user.
In case of forgot password, system provides the forgot password option to user while
logged in. On click of forgot password following interface avaialble to the user anduser has to submit the correct answer of a security question. If answer is correct,
system generates a new password and auto mail to users mail ID with the password
information.

2.2.3 Parameter ValueSystem provides the number of default parameter types to the user for configuring therequired values. At the time of transactions selection of these values available to user
according to the parameter. Default list of a Parameters type is given below.

2.2.4 Core Specification
One or more cores are available on Current transformer and Voltage transformer
available with the specific values of a current or a voltage. Per CT, CTPT and PT
testing, according to the requirement user need to configure the core specification ifnot exist into a standard list of core specification. User can able to configure the core
specification of a Current transformer under CT Type wile for CTPT & PT type
CTPT available to the user. The interface for entering the core specification is shown
below:

2.2.5 BackupSystem provides the Backup option to administrator for taking a backup of a data. To
get the successful backup administrator has to ensure that none of user logged into the
system i.e. system should in exclusive mode.
