This is a group for parents who have children with Autism / Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). It offers a programme of workshops facilitated by Psychology and Occupational Therapy. The sessions are interactive and open forums for you to bring and share your concerns and ideas around particular topics with other parents and the therapists. We provide resources for you to take away with you. The parent group runs from 10.00am to 12.00pm at Hackney ARK. Wed 23rd January 2013 Ideas for toileting Wed 6th February 2013 Helping your child sleep. Wed 6th March 2013 Eating and mealtimes Wed 3rd April 2013 How sensory processing can affect your child’s skills Wed 1st May 2013 Ways to develop your child’s play and communication Wed 5th June 2013 Helping your child’s independence skills. Tea and coffee will be provided. Unfortunately we cannot provide a crèche. Questions?
