Have you ever dreamt of visiting Greece and experiencing the beauty and culture of that glorious land? Greek culture has made a lasting impact on the world since ancient times: from the alphabet to the spoken word, economics to politics, philosophy to religion, mathematics to medicine, architecture to sport. In fact, everywhere we look in the modern world, we still see the influence of Greek culture. Plato, Socrates, Alexander the Great, Pythagoras, the Spartans...what a tremendous heritage!

Beyond these things, the Greeks are also known for their warm, welcoming hospitality, philo xe nia. If you are Greek or have Greek friends, you know firsthand that Greeks are truly loving and giving people. For the weekend of September 22-24, we invite everyone to enjoy this warm hospitality for yourselves; to eat, dance, laugh with your family and friends — “be Greek.” Rather than a 14-hour trip to Athens, just take a short drive to join us for the 59th Annual Pasadena Greek Fest. I promise you will never forget it. Come and be a part of the fun!

Faithfully,

Rev. Fr. Peter Stratos

The Greeks came into being, and the world, as we know it, began. Somewhere among the steep stone mountains and the little sheltered valleys, the joy of life found expression. -Edith Hamilton
