NFYFC DISCOVERY PROGRAMME

All the IFYE’s spent 2 days together in Vienna….

• We were greeted in Vienna for our orientation by a land jugend osterreich representative

• Spending days in the captital of Austria doing lots of sightseeing..

• A mix of us which included young farmers from Scotland, Finnland, America and France

DAY TRIPS TO LINZ + GRAZ

• The famous pumpkin oil can be found here in and around Styria• Austria is well known for its expensive coffee shops and excellent

bakeries…

Visit to piber lipizzaner stud…

Beautiful Austria..

• Austrians usually are up at 6am and have their main meal of the day at 12noon!

• The speed limit in Austria is 90mph

• Children usually finish school by lunchtime..

• Austria is divided in ‘states’

AUSTRIAN FARMING

A typical Austrian farm..usually small and very clean!
