RUGBY -1The Australian National Rugby Union Team (A.N.R.U.T), is represented side of Australia in rugby union. The national team is nicknamed The Wallabies and competes annually with New Zealand and South Africa in the tri-nations series, in which they also contest the Bledistoe cup with New Zeland and the mandella challenge plate with South Africa.

Australia are currently ranked second behind the all blacks in the IRB world rankings and hold the tri nations trophy and the Mandela plate !!!

Australia have competed in all seven rugby world cups, and have won the world cup on two occasions, in 1991 against England, and in 1999 against France. Australia also lost in the final after extra time to England in the 2003

• Baseball arrived in Australia in the 1850’swith American gold miners and was played on the gold fields of Ballarat. 30 years later the Union Baseball club was formed by Americans resistants. Aussies joined the yanks to form the Sydney baseball club a year later. In 1913 the Australian baseball council was created.
