pearls and strands. We can further source and select pearls required to create individual

strands and jewellery according to your specific request.

Our jewellery collection is designed to help you with ideas for your personal selection.

For example, you may see a particular piece which would better suit you set in white

gold, rather than yellow gold, perhaps with a smaller or different shape pearl. We can

help with your selection for an individually designed piece.

Costs will vary depending on lustre, size, shape, colour and complexion. The following

gives some guidelines on the prices of our jewellery

Bearing in mind that each pearl is individual, a strand or bracelet is created with a

selection of complementing pearls graded in size – by increasing or decreasing the size

by only 1mm for a number of pearls within the strand, the price can be adjusted quite

considerably. As such, it is often possible for us to produce beautiful strands for our

customers, at a price they are comfortable with.

Our South Sea Pearls are sourced from the world-renowned pristine waters off the north-

western coast of Australia, where the clean oceanic conditions and strict regulatory

structures, ensure that only the best quality of pearl is produced. The Australian South

Sea Pearls are created by the South Sea (pinctada maxima) Oyster, which has two

varieties, the silver lipped and the gold lipped. The silver lipped produces the white pearl

with shades ranging from silver to pink and the gold lipped produces the golden pearl in

its varying hues. The South Sea Oyster is the most highly valued of the pearl producing

species and produces the most sought after pearls.

Ta h i t i a n P e a r l s

The Tahitian Pearls are produced by the black lipped (pinctada margaritifera)

Oyster and are cultivated in French Polynesia. Pearls produced range in colour

from various shades of grey, silver, charcoal, blues, coppers and greens.

The natural beauty of these pearls is the result of the quality of oyster and farming

techniques. None of our pearls are dyed and the diverse range of colours is produced

naturally by the oyster.

A k o y a P e a r l s

The Akoya Pearl is produced by the Akoya Oyster (pinctada fucata martensii),

while traditionally cultivated in Japan is now increasingly produced in China.

Renowned for their lustre the Akoya is considered as the classic pearl.

The Akoya is the smallest oceanic pearl-producing oyster and as such the pearls are

generally smaller in size. Our focus is on supplying the higher quality Akoya which

traditionally produces a very classic and uniformed strand.
