Position Overview

An internship with ANZ Bank will give you great experience as an Analyst within the Advice and Distribution business in Melbourne.

As an Advice Proposition Analyst you will be exposed to different areas and initiatives within the Financial Planning business at ANZ. The Wealth industry as a whole is in a phase of transformation and ANZ strives to be the industry leader in financial services, ethics and customer orientation. Task and Responsibilities

Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, your main responsibilities will include:

Analysing and synthesising information, understanding the organisational context and impacts, and documenting high level requirements as input into investment case delivery and opportunity/problem evaluation to help drive new and existing initiatives.

Documenting and managing the requirements throughout the project or program end to end, and liaising with subject matter experts in the products, processes and systems in their area of expertise.

Dealing with senior stakeholders to present findings and manage expectations. Activities include problem solving, process mapping, change management and stakeholder engagement.

Contributing to support for key business systems as a result of BAU and project change.

Skills and Attributes

Hold a keen interest in developing your career in Financial Services/Banking industry

Have a strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Intermediate computer and spreadsheet skills

Have strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills and an impressive work ethic to work in a highly performing team

Ideal Degree/Discipline

Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics and Engineering (or similar discipline).

Eligibility Requirements

Second last or final year of an Australian university undergraduate or postgraduate degree

Australian citizens, permanent residents and International students with full working rights.

Strong academic results.
