Directors Christopher Phillips and Maureen Buckley began the company as a small venture in 1972 selling handmade candles at the renowned St Kilda Esplanade Market under the name ‘The Gumleaf Candle Company’.

Since these humble beginnings, Buckley & Phillips Aromatics has grown substantially and has developed a wide range of aromatic products. Over the years more family members and field professionals have joined our team, sharing the same passion for aromatherapy and fine fragrance. Our head office located in Victoria’s Yarra Valley has the capability for large-scale production, manufacturing products for Australian and worldwide distribution, as well as contract manufacturing for other companies.

At Buckley & Phillips Aromatics, we pride ourselves on being a 100% Australian owned and founded company that does not outsource production overseas. We focus on sourcing Australian ingredients, essential oils, fragrances, labels and packaging wherever possible.
