MISSION COST

Each participant is responsible for their airfares (except on Dockside Green tour), hotel expenses, meals, and other expenses while on the mission to Canada. Indicative costs are outlined below.

PARTICIPANT FEE

There will be a cost recovery fee of A$1,200 per participant. This fee is being used towards group transportation costs in Canada (e.g. shuttle bus hire to/from site visits in British Columbia, return airfare between Vancouver-Victoria), and some incidentals (e.g. group dinner or lunch). This fee does not include transportation to/from airports upon arrival/departure and does not include any individual travel undertaken (e.g. taxis to/from meetings, etc.). Although the occasional group meal may be covered through the participation fee, all other meals are at the participant’s expense. Payment of the Participant Fee should be made to the Building Commission via Jeff Norton. USGBC GREENBUILD REGISTRATION:

Each participant is responsible for their entry fees associated with USGBC Greenbuild. Registration is open now on the website, www.greenbuildexpo.org.

Participants are advised to register early as there are limited numbers available for the USGBC Greenbuild organised site tours and off-site education sessions. The deadline for early bird registration is August 15, 2011. ACTIVITIES ORGANISED BY FOREIGN AFFAIRS & INTERNATIONAL TRADE CANADA

Australian delegates can participate for free in activities being organised by Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada.
