TOURIST VISA FOR AUSTRALIA

Copy of Passport’s 1st page, last page, Observation page (if any) and all the used and unused pages of current passport should be notarized and submitted along with the documents. If an old passport is submitted then copies of all used page should also be submitted. VFS Global can certify a copy of your passport at their office at the time of lodgement by charging Rs. 10 per page.

Original Passport including any old passports is not required by the consulate however this would be verified by VFS during the submission. The passport should be valid for minimum of six months

One Visa Application Form 1419 to be filled in completely and signed by the applicant

Authorization Form 956 to be typed completely and signed by the each applicant.

Family Detail Form M67 to be filled in completely and signed by the applicant.

One recent colour photograph, 35x45 mm in size with white background

Covering letter from the applicant stating the purpose and duration of stay.(Letter should be addressed to The Visa Officer, Embassy Of Australia, New Delhi

If visiting relatives or friends, a letter of invitation from the relative or friend in Australia

Passport and visa copies of the sponsor required along with the evidence of sufficient funds

If intending more than 3 months or visiting a hospital for any reason, DIAC will request for a chest x ray

If aged over 75 years DIAC will request for evidence of health insurance for entire period of stay and medical fitness certificate completed by DIAC appointed panel of doctor

Applicants falling in this age group need to fill the form 11631 as well a No objection certificate from the current employer

Proof of sufficient funds

Bank statement for last 6 months including address and telephone number of the bank, A/C holder’s name & address with stamp and signature of bank

Income tax returns for last 3 year

3 months salary slips

If you are self employed; registration of the company, partnership deed and Memorandum of Article (MOA) is required

Two copies of passport first and last page to be submitted. (optional)

In case of minor (form 1229 Consent Form to be filled)A no objection certificate should be produced by parents in case minor is travelling alone. NOC should be signed by both parent a minor travelling with one of the parents, the other parent should issue NOC.

Visa fee is payable through Demand Draft and must be drawn in favour of Australian High Commission, New Delhi
