Such projects, will open up business opportunities for companies involved in urban water management; water resources management; catchment modelling; catchment area development; industrial water treatment and management; water quality monitoring tools and techniques. The objective of the session is to present an overview of the project. This session will focus on :  River rejuvenation and the sectoral water entitlements : The Australian experience  Efficient Effluent Management with regard to Ganga- the CPCB notification- preparedness of industry  The business opportunities offered by the Ganga Rejuvenation Project

Wastewater management in India has become an extremely

important area of focus due to increasing health awareness

and population pressure. Despite the wastewater sector

witnessing major growth in the last decade due to increasinggovernment support and private participation, the scale of the

problem remains enormous.

The water treatment market is evolving from chemical

treatment and demineralization technologies to greater use of

membrane technology; thereby enhancing the quality of water

available for reuse. The session will explore.

  Opportunities of water treatment available in India.
