Adelaide, the capital of South Australia is a small elegant city with gracious colonial architecture, abundance of parkland and an appealing mediterranean climate. South Australia is also host to some of the country’s finest treasures - beautiful Kangaroo Island

with its idyllic beaches and amazing wildlife, the famous vineyards of the Barossa Valley and Clare Valley, the winding grandeur of the Murray River, and the rugged outback of the Flinders Ranges and Coober Pedy, the opal capital of the world where most of the community lives underground.

Day 1. Adelaide to Kangaroo Island. This afternoon you will be picked up from your Adelaide hotel for a scenic coach trip through the south coast to Cape Jervis. There you will connect with SeaLink’s ferry for the 45 minute cruise to Kangaroo Island to meet your tour coach (or you can choose to travel by air) B

Day 2. Kangaroo Island. First stop is Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, an inter-esting bush engineered eucalyptus distill-ery. After a two-course lunch we head to the Birds of Prey demonstration. At Seal Bay walk along the beach amongst a breeding colony of wild and rare Sea Lions. Travel back to the Parndana Wildlife Park where you can feed kanga-roos and have your photograph taken with a koala. Day 1. Arrive Sydney. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 2. Sydney. This morning enjoy a walking tour of Sydney’s historic “The Rocks”, followed by an afternoon city sights tour.

Day 3. Sydney. Visit Taronga Zoo with the opportunity to view the amazing wildlife.

Day 4. Sydney to Ayers Rock. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Ayers Rock (airfare not included). On arrival, transfer to your chosen accommodation. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Uluru (Ayers Rock) to watch the sun set.

Day 2. The Secrets of Sydney Tour. Cross the Harbour Bridge and head out to the Northern Beaches – home to some of Sydney’s best surf-ers. Travel around the Pittwater foreshores to Cottage Point Inn for lunch. Explore Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and be briefed on important aspects of local Aboriginal history and culture. A gentle walk can lead you to one of the major ceremonial and rock art sites along the scenic West Head Peninsula.
