Flare Tanks are used to dispose of gas dischargedfrom the wellhead during well control events.

Two modes of operaon are ulised:

Client Customisaon:Flares can be customised to suit specic rig requirements. We have designed

ares to be used across the CSG, Shale/ Gas Sands, Deep Gas and

HPHT (High Pressure, High Temperature) drilling industries.

Gas DisposalThe primary mode of operaon is disposal of gas separated at the rig

degasser. Gas is piped via a large diameter (2-8) low pressure

aring line. The gas is vented to the are stack and ignited by the

are pilots.

Mud-Gas SeparaonAlternately drilling mud and gas mixtures are discharged directly from

the choke manifold via a high pressure (5000psi) panic line. The integral

separaon diverts the gas to the are stack for aring whilst the mud is

separated and retained in the mud storage tank for return to the rig

mud system.
