December 2016Skippers Canyon, a historic and scenic gorge near Queenstown, New Zealand, was named after “Skipper” Malcolm Duncan, who discovered gold in the canyon in 1862. We’ll have an amazing time exploring the canyon together.

April 2017The Māori name for Milford Sound is “Piopiotahi,” which refers to the piopio, an extinct native bird that New Zealanders believe flew over the Sound after the death of legendary hero Maui. Trip attendees will enjoy an exciting jet boat ride through Milford Sound.
