Wings of Hope & Solidarity…

Free hands-on workshop. with Chris Robinson and Rojava Solidarity Brisbane

Add your personal message of hope, prayer, wishes for the future to these giant wearable wings-shaped from Pahang canes. The wings of hope will be on display to be added to and then worn on the final day of the festival.We invite you into our bustling workstation of feather props, here you will rest your legs whilst your hands, eyes and head get busy creating your own addition to a project idolising the spirit of the festival. Create “feathers” out of beads, string and colourful prayer paper with your own message to rally the human spirit.

West End Community ART Exhibition

West End Community House Art Group is a dynamic creative group organised and run by West end community house in partnership with Micah Projects.

With an aim to engage local artist’s from within the community, the WECH Art Group provides a forum and a safe space for people experiencing social isolation to express and develop their creativity.

Australasian Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA HOUSE)Provides an inclusive Art and Craft Market space for local artisans combined with a Pop up café with food from the Greek Community, Fashion parades at 1:30pm and 4:30pm featuring local designers followed by great music from Tony (the Shinglemen) at 2:30pm-3:15pm, Chrystalline A.D at 3:30pm-3:55pm, Paul (the shinglemen) at 5:30pm – 6:15pm, The wicked messenger at 6:30pm – 7:15pm and The Shinglemen (Full band) from 7:30pm – 8:15pm
