Vision Teams

One of our short term mission opportunities is called ‘Vision Teams.’ Vision Teams are about ‘seeing with your eyes, your mind and your heart.’ They are a 2 week adventure giving you a first-hand taste of cross-cultural mission work. We’ll cover topics such as ‘Contextualising the Gospel,’ ‘Motivation for Missions,’ ‘The Goal of Missions,’ ‘Intro to Culture & Language Learning,’ ‘Teaching the Bible in Another Culture,’ ‘Intro to Literacy and Translation,’ ‘Health Care, Community Development & Social Justice Issues,’ ‘Tribal Religion,’ ‘Country’s Main Religion – eg Islam, Buddhism, Catholicism,’ ‘Teamwork’ and much more on our travels! You’ll visit a remote tribe where missionaries are working, broaden your understanding of God, the world and mission and be inspired and encouraged by all you hear and learn!

Interface in PNG

Another mission trip opportunity is in the lush highlands of Papua New Guinea! NTM runs a mini missions course in the heart of the stunning PNG mountains called Interface. Here team members will gain a deep understanding of cross-cultural mission work, meet people from all over the world, visit a remote tribe where missionaries are working and much more. If you’ve been on a Vision or Work Team with us, this is a perfect next step. Or if you’re ready to take a serious look at missions, this could be the trip for you!

Internship: Want more? After Interface, stay in Papua New Guinea for two to three more weeks and experience Internship. You'll have the opportunity to look further into one of five key ministries:

Aviation, Medical, Education, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
