Chapter 1:

The Human Auras and How To See Them

You do not have to be a psychic to see auras. Anyone who can see with both eyes can see the

radiating energy that surrounds each and every person but it does take some training. This may

come as a surprise to those people who assume that you need to have ‘special psychic abilities’

or spiritual gifts to see auras.

Yes it is true that you need to be one with your spirit in order to see those colors in ‘high

definition’ but the ability to spot auras is purely physical. All you need to do to hone your

abilities is to learn and practice how to manipulate and focus the cones and rods of your eyes

and recognize what you are ‘seeing.’ The key is to pinpoint what you are seeing and recognize it

for what it is.

Every animate and inanimate object and living being has an aura or energy field surrounding

them and this is based on science, not myth. Every animal, plant and living being deceased or

otherwise is composed of atoms which in turn are made of smaller particles i.e. protons and

electrons which are constantly in motion.

This vibration generates its own unique aura that is not exclusive to living things; even rocks

and minerals exhibit it. In fact everything in the Universe is just a vibration of particles and each

and every particle, even our thoughts and conscious are just vibrations. So we can safely say

that auras are electro photonic vibrations that respond to external agents and which can

respond to external excitation.

This energy field can change with time and circumstances at a moment’s notice since it is

affected by conscious intent. In other words, an aura contains information about the object it

belongs to. You can actually see someone’s thoughts before they even open their mouth to

verbalize them.

The effect is mesmerizing for those who are trained to see auras instantly. These are in the

form of ethereal, colorful and translucent fields that exude from people and each one has a

different aura. That’s because their auras are made from a complex combination which

comprises of heat, light, electromagnetic waves and sound which the body gives off naturally.

You must have interacted with these in one way or another during your daily interactions but

never realized that you did because your eyes are not trained to spot them.

Have you ever come across someone whose presence just made your mood better or

energized? Have you ever felt scared or extremely nervous without any reason when you are

near a certain person? Have you ever felt irritated when you are in close proximity to someone

even though you know nothing about them? Or have you ever felt depressed or jubilant when

you enter a room that has a certain décor?

Have you ever had to struggle to leave a group of people even though you weren’t having a

particularly memorable time with them? Or better yet, have you ever felt someone’s presence

even though they were not in the room with you or were anywhere near you?

While some of the reactions you experienced might be chalked up to your own psychological

makeup and awareness, most of them stemmed from your aura’s interaction with the people

and places you encountered.

The truth is that your aura just underwent significant changes with those encounters.

In other words, the other person’s aura had a profound effect on yours which can either make

or break your day depending on the energy they give out.

If they are dealing with some difficult issues, the energy might be negative and it can have an

impact on your own good mood.

Ever tried talking to a perpetually angry person? Do you feel drained each time you meet them?

That’s completely normal; their aura battered at your defenses which might have been weak to

begin with.

A person with a strong and positive aura will have strong defenses against adverse energy

which we will discuss down the line. The most common reason why some people fail to detect

auras is simply because they try too hard to see them. For most people feeling the aura is easier

and more accurate than actually ‘seeing’ it with their eyes.

The thing is that the human aura is quite complex since it comprises of a 7 layers that only a

trained eye can distinguish between. Viewing the lines of the auric layers can be a challenge

since you will have difficult discerning which one is which. However, with practice you will be

able to make slight adjustments to the way you look at an aura which will allow you to make

adjustments to your sight and see the layers separately.

There is also a very important 8th layer which is composed of several balls of energy that arise

from the 7 chakra points of the body: the mind, the psychic center, the heart, the primal, the

physical and the sexual or creative part. The aura is complex because it does not have a specific

point in the body like the seven main chakras. If you try to look at the center of the spheres or

in between them or try to see them as a whole you will still not be able to discern them.

Those who can see auras and multiple colors in several locations on the body are seeing parts

of the various layers without realizing it. And as their focus shifts so do the layers and various

colors also come into their view.

But how do we train our eyes to distinguish between those auras better? By focusing the rods

and cones present in them to see things up close and to see objects that are far away clearly.

Believe it or not you can train your eyes to stretch and contract by will alone to adjust them to

see a auras. This simple exercise can also improve your vision.

Auras inhabit a realm that is separate from the visible light our eyes see our entire life. The

spectrum is made up of more than this light if you remember your science lessons. And if you

train the rods and cones in your eyes you will be able to see that hidden electromagnetic

spectrum which are in fact, auras.

Here’s a simple exercise you can do to prove that you can adjust those rods and cones

according to your needs:

Stand in front of a window that looks outside or look at a distant wall. Now hold a pencil or pen

vertically about 2 feet from your face and focus your eyes on it.

Let your gaze slide away from it and focus out the window on any object that is at least 50 feet

away from you.

At that moment the pencil will ‘split’ into two! Yes, it’s an optical illusion but it does prove that

the rods and cones in your eyes will refocus automatically to see auras. It’s very simple to

understand really.

The secret to seeing auras is to observe what is close and then focus through it to something

that is at a distance.

Here is another simple exercise you can do that can train those rods and cones to see auras. Sit

in a short chair over a carpeted floor and turn your palms up.

Rest your forearms on your legs and touch each of the fingers on one hand on the adjoining

fingers on the other hand.

Now look past the fingers and focus on the carpet.

Without breaking focus, pull your fingers apart by less than half an inch and you will

immediately see an additional set of fingertips floating between the fingers of your hands!

Chapter 2:

Feel Your Own Aura

Now up till now, you might think auras can only be seen, not felt. However, feeling auras can be

as accurate as 90% as compared to just seeing auras. It may sound impossible to those who

have never even see an aura before, but if you're known to be sensitive and intuitive to others'

emotions, then you're about halfway there.

What you previously learnt about your layers and how to discern them can give you the tools

you need to discern other people’s auras as well.

If you've exercised the rods and cones in your eyes via the exercises we discussed in the

previous chapter, then training your eyes to see your aura will not be as challenging.

Here's how you can practice seeing your own aura.

Hold your hands with palms facing each other and spread about a foot apart.

Now close your eyes and think about feeling the space between your hands.

Give this act your complete focus and attention and pour your feelings into it. Even though you

may never have done this before, you can feel the energy between your hands if you focus.

That’s because our body has the inherent ability to feel auras and that includes our own. This

does not depend on ability; it’s just a matter of sensitizing ourselves to something we have

never felt before.

Keep your eyes closed and bring the palm of your hands together slowly until they are just a

few centimeters apart from each other.

Repeat this several times and eventually you will be able to feel as if you are pushing against

something or as if the space between your hands is thickening.

This feeling differs from person to person. Some can also feel hot and cold sensations or a

tingling feeling when they attempt this exercise. If on the other hand, you do not feel anything

between your palms after several moments, it might be better to visualize an object between

them such as a rubber ball.

Imagine you are squeezing it between your palms and continue doing this until you feel that

physical sensation. Most people are able to feel something in about 30 seconds or a minute

max and if you don’t then try the rubber ball trick.

There is another exercise you can do that is just as effective if this one does not work out.

Bend your left arm in a 90 degree angle and point your index finger at the center of your left

upturned arm or your palm.

Hold your right index finger about an inch above the upturned palm and close your eyes.

Now move your right index finger above the arm in random directions. Even though the finger

is not touching your left arm, you will feel as if it is on your arm or your palm. Some people

might feel a cold and tingly feeling while others might feel the same thickening sensation.

Most will feel as if there is an actual pencil moving across their arm and the sensation will be

quite real. The sensation might frighten you at first since you can see nothing between your

hands or your finger touching your arm with the naked eye. This is quite normal though since

you are just being introduced to a new sensation that has been with you your entire life but

was lying dormant.

Now that we have learned how we can feel our aura, we can move onto the next step and see it

with our eyes. At first you will only be able to see the lower layers of the aura but with time

higher level layers will become prominent to you.

For this exercise you need an isolated room with a white wall.

Do this exercise at dusk; the eyes will need to switch to night vision at that time and will be

sensitive.

Sit down across opposite the wall on a high backed and comfortable chair with feet flat on the

ground,

Make sure that your spine is erect and your back is completely supported.

Take a few minutes to take a few deep breaths and center yourself.

Now extend an arm with the palm facing the wall and the fingers together.

Gaze at your extended hand and the space between your fingers and soften your gaze.

Do you see something?

With time and practice you will be able to see a visible outline around your fingers and the

space between them. This may look like a heat wave but it is in fact an energy field that will be

colorless at first. With time and practice you will be able to discern different colors of the aura.

There is no limit to this exercise.

Observe yourself patiently and remember that you are not striving for anything. Just remain

present in the moment and keep focusing softly on your hand and fingers and the space

between the fingers. If you do this every day with time you will be able to practice in any light

condition and visualize the energy field without the need of a white background as contrast.

It is also a good idea to take a break between the exercises so your senses have time to

recuperate. At this point you should be able to feel your own aura and be capable of recalling

that energy at will as well. Recall that energy and focus it all on your hands to make a pair of

energy gloves so to speak.

If you place your palms close to each other they will repel strongly like a pair of magnets if the

energy is strong enough. Now feel that energy covering your entire body and imagine it as hard

and impenetrable armor keeping you safe.

Imagine a brilliant white light surrounding that armor. This armor will be your aura’s protective

shield and will keep you safe.

You can also use your awareness of your aura to feel your emotional state. That’s because

auras are a snapshot of our emotional state at any time. In other words, they do change

according to the emotions we feel and there is a simple way you can check yours.

Hold your palms facing each other about 2 to 4 inches from your body and move them in and

out to check where your aura starts.

If you feel a buzzing or a tingling sensation you have successfully detected your aura. Once you

feel where it begins trace the energy out from your body with your hands to measure how

extensive it is. If the field is extensive then that means you are feeling good and your emotional

state is balanced. If the aura is tight or condensed, then that typically means that your

emotional state is unbalanced. If the latter is the case then you can identify energy blocks and

work to loosen them for a more comfortable and balanced state of being.

To do this, relive a moment in your life when everything was right in the world and life was

going well for you. Visualize yourself in that time and place and do it as many times as needed

until it is very vivid. When that is done place your hand about 3 inches from your solar plexus

and feel the energy present there. The energy should feel light and expansive when you move

your hand away and your hand should move naturally without encountering any resistance.

Now think of a time in your life when you felt depressed, unappreciated, lost, alone or any

other negative emotion that made your emotional state out of balance. Repeat the same

exercise and if the energy is restricted or has a narrower field then that probably means that

your energy is blocked.

Chapter 3:

Feeling Other People's Auras

You can only feel another’s aura if you are intuitively attuned to your own aura. As you grow

more attuned with feeling your own aura, you can also start learning how to feel others' auras.

Body language, the amount of heat produced, whatever thoughts the person is having will

affect their auras and you'll be able to sense the changes. Feeling auras will provide a more

accurate sense of understanding others' emotions and thoughts compared to just seeing their

auras.

Even though seeing is far more accurate when it comes to diagnosing medical conditions,

feeling is more accurate when it comes to understanding thoughts and emotions.

You can use your palms in the same way as well. Practice reading other people’s aura by doing

a simple exercise.

Find a partner and ask them to stand two feet away from you facing you.

Hold your elbows close to your body and your palms should be held up vertically as well.

Ask your partner to mirror you so that your palms are separated by a foot of space only.

Now close your eyes and just like you felt the space between your palms when you were tracing

your aura, feel the energy between yours and your partner’s palms.

Keeping your eyes closed move your palms towards your partners’ slowly but don’t make

contact.

Then move your palms away slowly and continue this exercise a number of times till you feel

the physical sensation.

In the second exercise partner with another person and face the other way with at least 3 feet

between you and your partner.

Your back should be facing your partner’s front or vice versa.

The person at the back should start making pushing gestures with their right arm and pulling

gestures with the left and upraised palm.

If effective the person in the front should feel this pulling and pushing sensation and begin to

move backward and forward in unison.

This exercise will make you aware of the sensations you will feel when you encounter an aura

field.

Now that you know what you need to feel for, take the exercise to the next level.

Work with your partner again and one of you should stand still while the other moves around

them with their palms facing upward to the partner standing still.

If you are the partner with the palms facing up, move them up and down and feel the other

person's aura or energy field.

Search for the same physical sensation you felt when you did the first exercises.

There should be a thickening sensation or tingling sensation when your palms come in contact

with your partner’s aura.

What they are feeling will depend on the expanse of the aura you encounter.

As we discussed before, if the person has unresolved issues, then their aura field will be tight

and compact and will give you resistance rather than abundance.

If the person is positive minded, their aura energy field will be expansive, vast and abundant.

Your physical response will range from fatigue to elation depending on your beliefs about your

partner and what they represent.

If you feel tired after a session that does not really mean that the other person drained your

energy. More likely you were subconsciously blocking or switching off your own energy while

interacting with theirs in response to beliefs you might have about them. In other words, no

one can actually steal your energy and no one can actually steal your emotions.

So you really do not have anyone but yourself to blame for your low energy.

The good news is that you do have the power to change that and uplift your spirits. Once you

decide to look and examine other people’s auras, it might be best to start with friends and

family first or those you are most comfortable with.

The easiest place to see an aura is the top of the head and it is best to ask them to stand in

front of a white wall in a normally lit room.

Do not look at their face, look through them as if you are focusing on a point beyond them that

is directly behind your head. At first you will only see a translucent single layer of space

surrounding their head which will look like a heat wave.

But you will see something that’s for sure.

From that point on keep practicing the techniques and exercises mentioned in this bonus and

eventually you will be able to see auras in a range of colors.

You will go through some very distinctive changes during this time and your eyes will certainly

get the exercise they need to detect those myriad of colors and layers. With time you will also

be able to see the connections those auras have with things, people, pets and other objects.

This can take a few minutes to a couple of hours a day depending on your capabilities and

patience. More often than not, it takes 6 to 12 hours of focused eye exercises spread out over a

number of days and weeks when you can reach a point where you can see what the human eye

cannot.

Chapter 4:

Interpreting What You See

As you start looking and perceiving other's auras it would be best to practice on friends and

family first. There is no clear answer when it comes to interpreting what you see in other

people’s auras.

Each color can have a number of meanings depending on the part of the body that is under

observation and what the field of the aura feels like. Body language also comes into the picture

along with the individual’s personal circumstances. In other words, you should never jump to

conclusions based on the color you see in a certain part of the aura you see. These can change

into different shades as well depending on a number of circumstances.

There are some general guidelines that can help you figure out what you are actually seeing

about a person based on the colors of his or her aura. However, if you are just learning to see

auras at first you will only see some pale colors before the vivid ones come to the fore.

If you can see vivid colors but the person’s aura also shows some pale ones, then you are

actually seeing signs of weakness. You have to take the cords that span from one energy point

to another in the person’s aura into account to determine whether the weakness is emotional

or physical.

If you see a cord from the pale area that goes to the head, it means the weakness is physical

but if it is emotional, the cord will go from the pale area to the heart. Similarly, you may see a

number of pale cords attached to different areas of the body so if you want to determine the

main cause and the origination of the weakness, you need to take all indicators into account.

Before you reach this level of awareness you will go through some stages that will hone your

skills. In the first stage you will see a translucent space a couple of inches above the body of the

individual you are observing. You will see it like a heat wave right above the head but that is

not enough for you to make any conclusions about him/her.

In Stage 2, you will see the same the same translucent color but it will be about 8 inches above

the head an d will be showing other colors as well such as yellow. In this stage you will start

seeing colors but not enough to determine weaknesses and their origins.

Keep practicing till you reach Stage 3.

In this stage you will the entire body encased in the translucent auric field from the head to the

toes regardless of which angle you see the individual from. Eventually you will be able to see a

wide range of very pale colors that will appear and disappear continuously.

At this stage you will only be able to see the power cords starting from the main gateways and

disappearing a short distance away. This is the stage when you will be able to make some

observations about the individual under your scrutiny.

If you notice a disturbance in the auric field then that means that there is an issue in the energy

center and the area where it is located will give you an idea about the real problem.

For example if you see a depressed area in the heart that may not point to a physical or an

emotional issue. You will need more information from other observations from across the body

to determine this. Keep practicing until you reach Stage 4.

At this stage you will notice very vivid aura colors in some places all over the body besides

those you can see from your periphery vision. You will also be able to discern the 7 auric stages

at this point along with a radiating energy field around the body pointing to the power source in

the body.

The power cords that were translucent or invisible to you in Stage 3 will also become more vivid

at this stage. Some of those cords may be attached to other people in the room and some may

move through the walls and exit the building.

In the last and final stage, Stage 5, the aura will become intense so

much so that you will be able to distinguish between the 7 separate

layers with ease. Even though some areas might seem more

vibrant than others, the overall effect will seem like millions of

tiny colorful jewels packed together some of which will be

emerging from the body.

At this stage you will be able to see all of the colors separately and

clearly to determine what the person is feeling. If you see areas

that are not projecting as far as they should, then that means

that those are weaknesses in the body.

Once you have reached the final stage, practice on friends or

family who are open-minded. You might not like what you see in

their auras and you will face some difficulty in telling them the truth. Those who see the glass

half full will be able to take the news better than others and can even help you explore your

newfound abilities further.

Below are some of the more common aura colors and what they represent. You can use the

more dominant colors that surround an individual as a reflection of their personality and also as

a symbol for their future.

RED YELLOW

If you have more Red than any other color, it shows that you're passionate and energetic, daring to try anything and everything. The term "YOLO" (You Only Live Once) really applies to Red individuals. However, they can also be hot-tempered. This can be easily compensated for with their generosity and willingness to help others.

Yellow aura individuals are usually highly intelligent and logical. Sometimes those traits turn them into workaholics who end up neglecting their friends and family. But fret not, they are also excellent at communication, and once they are aware of any ailing relationships, they will do well in mending bridges and keeping the bonds tight once again.

PINK GREEN

Known to be fiercely loyal and faithful, people with pink auras are extremely loving. They do all they can to keep themselves and their loved ones happy. They're also creative and sensitive, and have strong ideals. The downside is that for anyone to be deemed "worthy" of Pink aura individuals, they must meet their high moral expectations.

If you have a mostly green aura, it means you're a perfectionist. It also means you have a green thumb, or have a penchant for decorating and beautifying spaces. You shower your loved ones with affection and share your wealth with them all the time. However, it's not wise to cheat or betray people with Green auras as they do not forgive easily.

PURPLE ORANGE

Ah, this bunch of individuals usually possess the highest amount of psychic ability. They're very in tune with themselves and others, even if they aren't aware of it at first. Slightly harder to approach than the other colors, Purple individuals choose their friends very carefully, and if you're loved by a Purple, you're loved for life.

You don't care if you're in the spotlight or hidden in the shadows; you love it either way. Orange individuals tend to be kind and thoughtful. They anger easily, but also forgive easily. One thing they can improve on is to stop rushing headfirst into projects, relationships, and commitments, which is something Orange individuals like to do.
