Johnny Appleseed Day

Thursday, Aug. 15th is our Johnny Appleseed Day. We will be doing lots of fun activ-ities with apples: cutting, eat-ing, doing art, reading stories, etc. We might even see a few pot hats, just like Johnny Ap-pleseed, himself! (If your child has apple allergies, please remind your child’s teacher.)

Beach Day

Thursday, August 22nd, will be our Beach Day. This is a fun way to celebrate the letter “B”. Children can wear their swim suits but won’t get wet. We will do some fun sand ac-tivities like games and crafts.

It will be fun at the Beach, our style, only without the beach water .

Book Day

Everyone is invited to bring their child’s favorite book to share on Thurs-day, August 29th. No matter what age, they probably have a favorite book. Be sure your child’s name is on the book!

Medication

If you anticipate your child needing Tylenol, Motrin, Benadryl, etc., please bring a new, signed, Medica-tion form. Thank you

Baby Pictures

Along with our letter “B”, we are asking everyone to please send a baby picture of your child. We will talk about how much they have grown and how cute they were.

Please send them anytime the week of the 19th-23rd. These pictures will be returned.

Lunches

Last year lunches were $2.25. This year there might be a small increase. Also, new this year, you can purchase a larger size lunch as an option. No word on that cost, yet. We’ll let everyone know when we find out. Please let us know before 9:00 AM each day. Please call us if you are going to be in after 9.
