God’s Purpose Over Our Preference For HIS Glory

Jason & Mistie Soward and Family! Jason will be serving Blanchard First as our

Full-Time Worship Pastor!

Pastor’s Corner Summer activities are coming to an end here at Blanchard, First and God has truly blessed this summer through our Wednesday night activities, camps, VBS, and Love Out Loud! But, as we know, when summer comes to an end that means that the beginning of school is just around the corner. This is exciting for those who will see school friends and trade stories of summer adventures. It means the discipline of getting back into the school year routine. It also means the beginning of our regular Fall programming within a few weeks. Starting Wednesday, August 22nd we will start back with our Fall schedule. The time for the Fall schedule will be 5:30 – 7:30 pm with meals starting at 5:30 pm and our various Bible Studies for kids, youth, and adults will follow. There will be several options for adults when it comes to Bible Study on Wednesday night, so stay tuned for more details. I hope that I will see you there as we fellowship and grow together as disciples of Christ. I also want to let you know that starting with this newsletter we will be going to an every two-month newsletter. So, please make sure to hold onto your calendar of events so that you can stay informed of what is happening in the life of Blanchard First Baptist. If you serve as a volunteer in ETC, an Usher, or on the Welcome Team, you also will need to make sure to hold on to your schedules to know when you serve in those ministries. Blanchard First Baptist, I love you and I’m praying for you! By His Grace, Pastor Travis

Matthew 28:18-20 ESV

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in

the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And

behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
