GETTIN’ GOIN’ IN ST. LOUIS Hello from St. Louis! It is hard to believe that it has been five months since we made our voyage across the state of Missouri, but here we are. We’ve definitely had some adjusting to do, but overall we are loving the journey so far. Currently we are living in O’Fallon, Missouri which is on the northwest side of the St. Louis area. We decided to rent here through September until we determined exactly where to plant. It has been wonderful being able to spend a lot more time together as a family without the day-in, day-out church responsibilities and a slower schedule. We know it won’t always be that way, so we are taking advantage of the time we have now. Our primary focus with the church plant so far has been seeking God’s face as to where in the city He would have us plant. We have done a lot of research, meeting with area pastors, visiting different areas and churches and especially praying as we try to get that nailed down. It has been a good process so far and we are excited to announce that we will be planting in Fenton, Missouri. Speaking Truth Living Truth

GETTIN’ GOIN’ IN ST. LOUISHello from St. Louis! It is hard to

believe that it has been five months

since we made our voyage across the

state of Missouri, but here we are.

We’ve definitely had some adjusting to

do, but overall we are loving the

journey so far.

Currently we are living in O’Fallon,

Missouri which is on the northwest

side of the St. Louis area. We decided

to rent here through September until

we determined exactly where to plant.

It has been wonderful being able to

spend a lot more time together as a

family without the day-in, day-out

church responsibilities and a slower

schedule. We know it won’t always be

that way, so we are taking advantage

of the time we have now.

Our primary focus with the church

plant so far has been seeking God’s

face as to where in the city He would

have us plant. We have done a lot of

research, meeting with area pastors,

visiting different areas and churches

and especially praying as we try to get

that nailed down. It has been a good

process so far and we are excited to

announce that we will be planting in

Fenton, Missouri.

Fenton is on the southwest side of

St. Louis near the intersection of

Interstate 44 and 270, and gives us

good proximity to several other cities.

Parts of Fenton are well-established,

while other parts of it are growing with

new sub-divisions and businesses. It

is your typical suburb, but seems to be

lacking gospel-centered, doctrinally

driven, culture engaging churches. We

are thrilled with how and where God

has led us and can’t wait to get

started.

Since making the decision, God

led us to a house that will be great for

starting a church. With a large front

room for Bible studies and a partially

finished basement for kids, we look

forward to seeing how God uses this

house for His glory.

The other task we have been

undertaking during this time is

developing a web-site for The Truth

Project STL. Our good friend Mark

Gomez is developing the website

and we look forward to launching

that toward the end of this month.

It will keep you up to date as to

what is going on and give an

overview of what our goals and

vision are. We also plan to use it as

a tool for those interested in being

involved in the church plant.

Carly and Molly are both

adjusting well to the new

surroundings and just can’t stop

growing! Carly is very excited to

start school in about a week and will

be in first grade. Molly just turned 9

months and is crawling all over the

place and is in the “everything-

goes-in-your-mouth” stage.

Thanks for taking the time to

catch up on what is going on in our

lives. If you would like to become a

prayer partner and get bi-weekly

prayer requests please send us an e-

mail at the following address:

FAMILY PICS

While back in K.C. for a weekend, we were able to get some pictures taken for the upcoming web-site. It was a beautiful night and we had some great scenery at Loose Park. Our friend Dan Moore did the pictures.
