If you are planning on at-tending a Labor day party and you will be drinking alcoholic beverages, please designate a sober, non drinking driver to get you back home safely. If this is not possible, make plans to stay overnight at where you will be. Exercise La-bor day safety! Party safely! You want to be alive to celebrate the next Labor day

It is hot. Drink plenty of water while enjoying La-bor day activities. This is one of the many important Labor day health tips you should heed. You can de-hydrate quickly on a very hot Summer day. That is no fun. Take plenty of wa-

ter with you so that you do not get too thirsty. A cooler or ice chest full of water and other beverages is great! If you plan on participating in water sports or water activities, take a life pre-server! One for each per-son. Jet skis, boats, all should have life vests or life jackets on. A few toss out life rings are always a great idea to take along in any boating activity. A first aid kit should be kept on the boat for any emer-gencies. Have a cell phone handy, also, in case you need to help. That is prac-ticing Labor day safety! Check out all of these im-portant things before you leave the dock or shore. They could save lives.

You can have a wonderful and fun Labor day while being safe. Observe your surroundings and always keep kids safely protected by sober adults that can act quickly in an emergency.
