CNC Newsletter 3rd August 2016
CNC Chronicle
Words from our President
CNC pay HBF Arena Joondalup to train on the courts each week?? This is an enormous cost to the club each season. Did you know the ANZ Championship Grand Final went into DOUBLE extra time? (what a game!) Cailtin Bassett’s “Take the Next Step” Clinic at JNA is sold out. Did you know Romelda Aiken from Qld Firebirds is 3 cms taller than Caitlin Bassett.
Did you Know?
Welcome to our latest newsletter, WOW… the season is flying by. Over the last month, we have seen teams compete in Warriors Cup & Kalamunda Carnivals. JNA held the official opening of the new courts & match office and teams are back into training after the 2 week break. 4 rounds of netball remain before finals begin for U12’s – Opens. Windup invites will be emailed to all families by the end of this week. Spring Season registration information will be
released soon. See you on the courts! Sharon Knott

Big thanks to Lauren Kershaw for umpiring the game for us. CNC teams participated in Warriors Cup and Kalamunda Carnival. All teams who attended played within the spirit of the game & should all be proud of themselves. Warriors Cup Premiers: U12’s Aces & U10’s Glory – Congratulations girls. CNC Teams are playing in the upcoming Belmont Carnival. Wishing you all a wonderful Carnival.
Umpires
Netball Australia has a well-established Accreditation system, endorsed by the Australian Sports Commission. It is an
educational pathway based on courses, ongoing professional development and practical umpiring experience. The
culmination of this Accreditation system, for those who choose, leads to practical assessment in a 4-tiered system of
badges, namely C, B, A and the highest national award the AA (All Australian).
CNC Congratulates Zoe Smith & Ashlyn Foster on
being awarded your C Badge. Great job girls!!!
