Working hard, playing hardWith five diverse com-
munities on the busy and booming West
Shore, there’s never a short-age of interesting people doing interesting things.
For 18 hours on Thursday, July 21, photojournalists from the Goldstream News Gazette
and Black Press spread out across the businesses, homes, parks, farms, trails and streets of Colwood, Langford, Metcho-sin, Highlands and View Royal.
Our photographers high-lighted the beauty of people working hard, enjoying time with their family and experi-
encing the vast natural environ-ment, parks and playing fields.
From a little girl walking a pet llama, to firefighters tack-ling an inferno, the collection of images from a single day show the diversity, adventure and joy in our community.
