Thank you to everyone who attended the Aboriginal & Torres Strait
Islander Children's Day 2019 Celebrations. Many thanks to Kutanya
for organising and their generous support for this event.
Congratulations to Absec on the official opening of their new office in
Menindee. With perfect weather, wonderful food and great
entertainment the official opening of the new office was very
successful.
This week is Education Week. Tomorrow we have ‘open classrooms’
from 11:30 - 1:30. I hope to see many family members attend.
On behalf of MCS, a warm welcome to our new teacher Jorden Mose.

Father’s Day Mini
Olympics Afternoon
On Friday 30th August from 12pm-1.30pm, Primary would like to invite all fathers,
grandfathers and uncles or any other family members to come along to our
Menindee Central School Mini Olympics.
There will be an Opening Ceremony with students running an Olympic torch
around the school followed by four activities and a Closing Ceremony consisting of
a BBQ lunch. The activities include:
Egg and spoon races
3 legged races
Bean bag throwing
Tug of War
Please join us for a fun afternoon where many laughs and memories will be made.
We look forward to seeing you at 12pm on the 30th August.
