We have had quite a few complaints with people parking vehicles on the

sidewalk. As per the Traffic Control Bylaw

9.12 No person shall park a vehicle: (g) within one and one half (1.5) meters of an

access to a garage, driveway or a vehicle crossway over a sidewalk, 14. Offences and Penalties

14.1 Any person who contravenes any section of this bylaw is guilty of an offence and liable,

on summary conviction before a Provincial Court Judge, to fines.

Alliance Community

Park We are looking to build a shelter at the park

for those hot summer days when you need

a cool place to rest or an unexpected rain

storm hits. The cost of the shelter would be

$4000.00, we have a member of the

community who has made a generous

donation of $1000.00 already!!!

Unfortunately we would still need a fair

amount to help cover the cost. We are

looking for donations from people in

Alliance and surrounding areas, people

who donate anything over $100.00 will get

their name engraved on a plaque that will

be proudly displayed on the shelter.

A Letter from a concerned citizen;

About “Do unto Others”

To the gentleman who has been known to stand in

the centre of Main Street yelling obscenities about

someone else's tree leaves blowing onto his lawn--

You were seen flicking your live cigarette butt on

to the restaurant yard.

Only a few feet from a “butt can”

Shame on you, sir! Shame!

Sincerely Wilma Mcleod

Yes I did step on it.

Even a light breeze can carry a spark.

The Orphan Well Association

will be abandoning more

Canadian Coyote wells

around Alliance starting this

week. As the defunct oil

company records are not

always available, landowner

contacts for the service rig

may be incorrect. If you find

a rig working on an old

Canadian Coyote well on

your land please drop by to

introduce yourself to the site

supervisor.

Thank you
