Why Did My Budget Plan Amount Change?This month, Budget Plan customers may find a new payment amount on their enclosed bill. Adjustments are made to reflect natural gas usage, normal weather and estimated natural gas costs. The enclosed insert provides more details and an explanation of the Budget Plan process.

Ready to Buy a Natural Gas Standby Generator?Before you make that purchase, we’ll need to find out if your existing natural gas service line, meter and regulator are able to provide adequate natural gas supply and pressure to properly run your new generator in addition to your current household equipment.

To initiate the process, first select the “Natural Gas Appliances” link under the My Home section of njng.com. Then select “Standby Generator” from the left menu and complete the inquiry form provided. And as an FYI, you may need your contractor’s assistance completing the technical specifications of the form.

Within 15 business days of submitting the form, you’ll receive an e-mail with our review. If your premises requires an upgrade to accommodate a natural gas standby generator, it may take up to six weeks for this work to be completed.
