On the occasion of 70th Independence Day of India, flag hoisting ceremony

was organized at the residence of AHC on 15th August 2016. Hon'ble

Governor, Chief Minister, Chief Secretary and District Secretary of Central

Province and other dignitaries graced the occasion.

dancer conducted the workshop.

thTo make the 100 Anniversary (2017) of M. G. Ramachandran,

famous film star and CM of Tamil Nadu, AHCI, Kandy

organized release of the book entitled 'Engal Thangam' written

by Mr. Matale Vadivelan. Perhaps, worldwide, this is the first

such event being organized in connection with the centenary

of MGR.

Books to 16 schools of Kurunegala District (NWP) and sets of Library Books to th6 schools of Matale District (Central Province) on 19 August 2016 at BKK

proceeded to India in August for ITEC training in diverse fields in National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small business development,

National Institute of Rural Development, National Institute for Micro Small & Medium Enterprises and National Institute of Training for

Standardization (BIS). Since April 2016, 21 nominees have availed of technical training with full Government of India scholarship.
