Dear Fellow Chamber Members,
Summer is here and things are heating up for our Chamber Super Bowl MMXVI Membership Drive and the 50th Anniversary of the CCISD New Teachers Luncheon.
First, a big welcome goes out to the newly elected officers of the Chamber Board and our newest Board members!
Our Chamber is one of the largest in the area and is highly respected by our elected officials, community leaders and most importantly, the business community. Our Chamber is made up of the brightest and most talented people I know. They work hard at their respective careers and still find the time to acknowledge the importance of being involved in the Clear Lake Area Chamber. Once a year we have a membership drive to reach out to new and old businesses in the area that have not had the opportunity to join. We are offering extra
incentives that will help promote a new or existing business. I encourage you to reach out to non-member associates and business partners to suggest they pick up the phone or stop by the Chamber any time!
I am so proud of the fact that our Chamber along with CCISD will be welcoming over 350 new teachers to the district for the new school year. This will be the 50th year that our Chamber has coordinated and sponsored this incredible event. Recognizing and welcoming our new teachers to the area is a wonderful opportunity for you and your business to show your appreciation and demonstrate how supportive our business community is of our local educators. Kudos to the Chamber and the committee for another stellar job coordinating and promoting this annual event..
Lastly, don’t forget to support your fellow Chamber members and businesses. Buy into Bay Area is still an important campaign of our chamber and we encourage everyone to save time, save gas and pump up our own Clear Lake area by shopping and supporting local businesses. Cheers!
