To Loving Members of TFBC
It is a hot summer for all around the world. Korea is facing summer heat every-
day and it is hot in Washington summer. It is also hot in Eastern Europe where
we are. We just finished the conference in Prague. The hotel we stayed for the
conference had AC issue so it was like a sauna for the duration of the confer-
ence.
Despite the circumstances, all the team members attended all the seminar from
8AM to 10PM. Even the missionaries were surprised by their physical and spir-
itual strength.
This conference had 400 which was the highest attendance ever and much bless-
ings for every seminar. As I shared the message on Wed night with Ezekiel 37,
"Revive the people of the nation as we are like dry bones" Missionaries families
listened the message and there were great works of Holy Spirit as we were sing-
ing and praying.
It seems like missionaries were hungry for the filling of the spirit as they face
spiritual battles in their mission field. It was passionate prayers and praise that I
have not heard anywhere else. Especially Korean missionaries prayed for Korea
and the peninsula with tears.
During the evening before the evening service, Pastor Hyunsoo Lim who had
been imprisoned for 3 years in North Korea shared his seminar. We had prayed
for his freedom for over a year. As I shared with him how we prayed for him, he
was very thankful. He urged and encouraged all attendees to pray for the repent-
ance as he shared about the situations in Korea. These were triggers for great
worship services during the conference.
One of the sad news that we heard was that missionary kids from Brazil have
ended their own lives. How hard it must been for them that they chose the ex-
treme measure? Mission fields can be lonely since they are isolated culturally
and socially so they can go astray. Mrs. Choi share messages to young adults
and did a seminar on family and childhood education and it was great.
One of the great thing was Kiman Kim's family and Khang's family has joined
us for the conference. We had 15 TFBC members at the conference and with
their support, I was able to share messages that are Spirit filled.
Now, we are sharing Sunday message at Missionary Seo's church and lead VBS
and parenting seminar. From Monday, we will be doing gypsy ministry. Please
continue to pray that we will finish the mission and return safely.
As Paul received Macedonian calling in the book of Acts, we have spiritual
challenges from the lost. I pray that Europe will be re-evangelized before the
day of the Lord.
I love you and thank you. I bless you in the name of the Lord
