There is a big brick wall very close to where we recorded. Bricks absorb sound – stopping it in its

tracks.There is a lot of metal

around the area. Metal reflects sound – it bounces

There is a lot of background chatter from other students or the dinner ladies who can be heard preparing the meals.

There is a lot of background chatter from other students. It is an echo and almost drowns out the dialogue.

There are a lot of hard surfaces and it is reflecting and echoing the sound.

There is an ambient muffled noise.

There is a loud banging coming from the busy kitchen.
