Watch this short clip of 'Skyfall' and write down what you like about it.I like how humour and comedy is encorporated in a serious situation

Very atmospheric, tense with a good score, sucks you in and keeps you very interested. Also set in the normal world, makes you faintly incredulous that this all could happen in

Javier Bardem is a dude.

Tension, characters, pace. Editing (cuts camera movement) fashion, dry comedy, realistically filmed (underground used well). Flip between two story lines, chase and plenty ofgood computer graphic imageryCreative camerawork and set fluidity. The plot and general intrigue of bond helps too. Good tension created. All the high tech equipment involved

The sepia tones in the underground tunnel contrasting with the bright colours and strip lighting in the control room. The humour when Bond tries to board the tube. The way the camera pans around and down during the first part of the clip. The tension being built up by Bond pushing through all the commuters on the platform. The contrast between Bond's smart suit and the rest of the cast.Daniel Craig and it's exciting.

Thrilling and funnyI like the suspense. The music drives the action on, very much against the clock. The actor who plays Q now is great; very straight but funny.Humour, action shots, camera anglesit has a lot of different scenes which increases enjoyment and some witty banter, sarcasm and it builds tension from the trainGood editingDaniel Craig, dry humourDaniel Radcliffe's suave behaviourDramatic and shitCamera filter, lighting, camera angles, in the underground scene where the vilian is wearing a pale jumpsuit but everyone else in the scene is dressed in blacks and greys, musiFast paced, well put together, good casting, interesting, doesn't dragInteresting and funnywhen the train comes, the tension builds and he almost dies

We it was hardly a short clip was it? thats six minutes of valid time wasted. It was alright I guess, he's only on a hunt, but if you haven't seen skyfall then he could be on a hunt for anything in your eyes. the man in the jump suit could have stolen DanielGood use of cross cutting and fast paced edits to ramp up the tension.

-tension but knowing that the goodies will be OK in the end-the comedy of sliding down the escalator-the quirkiness of Q

What did you dislike about it?N/A Loved itNot much. Although Q is a total moron...

Nothingunrealistic and not very creative like the rest of the filmsInaccuracies

That is it six minutes longBut it should be faster paces at some pointsI like all of it.Very dark screen.

A little far fetched but it is bondSlightly contrived in finding the grills removed to reveal a hidden ladder. It wasn't long enough lolnothingnot muchNothingBit cliche at times- doors won't open, super villan and convenient train timing causing drama.Daniel Craigms hotter than meGot bored after a whileNothingA bit slowwhen bond is walking through the train trying to find the badman, its a bit boring and at this point i would have gone and made a cup of tea and be back in time for when he storms the courtroom and stuff starts to get interesting and a bit more faI didn't read the first question properly and i Put all my bad points in there. so deduce what you can from it.If I was Bond, I'd have shot the lock off the door first and not risked hurting my shoulder.-the music was a bit repetitive and predictable

What improvements could be made?Longer scene?

Hire a better director of computer espionage?

Apart from that not much. I would say more punching, but there's plenty of that later when it turns into home alone 4.

Not sure - it's fun and serious at the same time...does what bond should do!make it so the tube doesnt fall down into another chamber that clearly doesn't existDon't knowThey could speed it up when the train crashes through the wall and have music when you see That he survived xxNone.Shorten the scene, the action goes on too long.

None reallyNo sure. Not much, it's bond...immersion was broken when no-one gets angry at some guy barging them out the way and no-one wondering who the guy who just came out of a ventilatiobetter actorsAre you kidding? It's Bond.Remove the clichesGet some fat bloke to be James BondShorterI think it's fine the way it is, excessive drama/action can make a scene seem unrealistic whereas this was plausible and excitingA bit more pacemabey there should have been a small fight scene where the bad man hides and springs out on bond , making us all jump , this would pull the audience baSkyfall was a cracking film matey. So probably none. The metaphor about the coconuts and rats were good though. And the realism of the underground.Less product placement ;)-more variety of music

What music do you like to listen to in Action and Thriller films?Intense & Creepy

Decent orchestral scores mixed or decent electronic. Anything that sets the tone so well that you barely know its there until you watch the whole thing

Or the stuff that they made for Lord of the Rings, something I might consider buying the soundtrack for.

Anything appropriate to the scene. Opera if slow tension, Ska if in the Caribbean. Drums if there is some serious action imminent.Loud and heroicIntense musicJames Bond style stuffLoud and fast. The music in 'Jaws' is perfect.Popular

Up beat music such as a BondDon't really mind so long as it adds to the action. Nothing too heavy.Gripping musicfast pacedmodern songs with a fast paceMusic that suits the action.Hans zimmer; strings and drums, adds tension.Something with a kickTrendy musicFast, James Bond-esque music, ominousFast musicsomething that compliments and follows how the actors are feeling, mabey faster paced if the character is stressed.None, slow clear dialog. slightly patronising.Something with a lot of heavy beats - perhaps dance or rock oriented. Something like the Prodigy, Skrillex or Slipknot.I don't really like listening to film music on its own, unless the music stands alone eg Mamma Mia
