Primary Audience

• Gender: Female• Age:16-25• Occupation: student• Ethnicity: White British

Primary Audience The reason we have chose to aim our film at young females is because the film is all over quite a feminine genre especially that the main plot is based around love and romance. The type of females our film will attract are quite arty and creative students, who listen to music from the pop/alternative genre. They will also be a very social person that has close bonds with people such a friends and family. Over all the type of female we have decided to aim our film at are outgoing and like to be involved with the world through television, magazines and the internet. This particular type of audience would go see our film with a group of female friends, Mother or boyfriend. This type of audience would be interested in other films such as 500 Days of Summer, Submarine and P.S I still love you. They may listen to bands such as the Smiths, Joy division and the Wombats.

Secondary audience

• Genre: Male • Age:16-25• Occupation: Student• Ethnicity: White British

Secondary AudienceAlthough the main audience of our film will be females, some males still will want to go see our film because the time travelling side to our film may attract males as it is quite action based. They also may chose to go with their girlfriend if they share similar interests and personality traits. The type of male our film is aimed at is young also creative/ arty students that are passionate about music. They may play an instrument and enjoy going to gigs and concerts. I don’t think a boy of a young age would chose to go see our film with a group of his friends that are male but more with his girlfriend.

Secondary Audience

Secondary Audience We have also decided for a secondary audience an older range of females. We have decided this because it is a feminine film and it Is quite mature it is not as if it is childish that adults will not want to go see it. This type of audience will be interested in reading books of a love/drama genre such as twilight and 50 shades of grey (;. They also would be a very family person with a few children that they would love to be around and spend time with. Although they would still enjoy going out with their friends/partner and having a glass of wine. Other films this type of audience would be interested in are Twilight, The Hunger games and The time travellers wife.

Over all are film is aimed at mainly females. I think to improve the income of our film we will have to make the audience it is aimed at wider as we have said it is only aimed at white British people (females.) This may restrict our film from receiving a decent income because the audience seems very restricted.
