Little more in depth description of who my target audience are, what they look like and what their every

day life is.

Page 3: Audience profiling

Interests and hobbies:Going to concerts and festivalsSpending time on social networking sites (Twitter)Listening to music Finding out what their favourite bands are doingSpending time with friendsTalking about musicMeeting new people over the internet

Dislikes:Being stereotyped by societyPeople who constantly hate on them for what they likeWhen a person thinks a band is ‘rock’ when actually they aren’tPeople who brag about being a band’s ‘top fan’ when in reality, they only know one songWhen society start liking an under-rated band and they ruin the band with the famePop music and the people linked to pop musicYoung fans who go on stupid at concerts (‘fan girls’)

Religion:Many rock artists add their religious views into their lyrics, but as society has labelled rock and metal music ‘satanic music’ people think it’s all anti-Christ and the people who listen to the music worship Satan. In reality, fans of rock and metal come from all around the world and come from different background and all have different beliefs from Christianity to Hinduism.

Employment Status:Since the fans of rock and metal is very ranged, from kids to elderly people. The work status varies a lot, but mainly my target audience are students, but can have a part-time job whilst as school/college/university.

The way they look:Usually, rock fans of my target audience range don’t really make any money. Their parents provide for them. But the way they dress is usually skinny jeans with a band t-shirt. Some girls can wear shorts with tights with a band t-shirt.Shoes can vary from Vans to Doc Martens and Converse. Mainly trainer shoes, comfortable. They don’t walk around in heels all the time. For make up, girls (and some boys) wear thick eye liner with big flicks, don’t wear bright orange foundation and have red or black lipstick.

My target audience usually have piercings, in their ears and on their face such as Medusa, lips and nose rings.

Most of my target audience aren’t old enough to gettattoos yet, but some do and some ideas my audience have are sleeves and big leg pieces of things that mean a lot to them. Some of them can be music related.
