hospitalitystyle.com

Hospitality designers and arcHitects redefine expectations witH every project tHey do. So does Hospitality Style. Like the high-volume firms it serves, Hospitality Style continually pushes the envelope to find better ways to inform and inspire. That’s what sparked our new approach to content delivery.

Hospitality Style asked designers worldwide when, where and how they want to be reached and what makes them read the magazines in their mailboxes and the newsletters in their inboxes. Their input was the starting point for a fresh concept in business-to-business communications, one that leverages the potential of the immediacy available online alongside the graphic possibilities of print.

Each quarterly print edition of Hospitality Style is a fashion statement. The distinctive large-format size showcases the international projects and products that will set tomorrow’s trends. Behind the beautiful images are stories that drill down into the business skills and technical innovation that make design magic happen. Readers get a glimpse into the genius of some of the biggest names in the industry in the issues’ Q+A section. As much at home on a coffee table as a desk, this is an idea book that sums up what’s next in hotels, restaurants, spas, cruise ships, event spaces and senior living projects around the globe.

Online, HospitalityStyle.com gives designers the headlines, career advice, project galleries and products they need to keep pace with this fast-changing industry. Daily headlines, the biweekly Hospitality Style PULSE newsletter and regular blogs by staff and leaders in design keep the conversation current and lively.

Hospitality Style is created by designers for designers. The brand connects the most influential voices in the industry: more than 16,000 designers and architects who specialize in hospitality work. And, it reaches them at the point of decision. So, whether in a stunning magazine spread or headlines on the Internet, Hospitality Style is all about the business of design. Mary Scoviak / Editor

Submitting Materials

for Editorial Consideration

Hospitality Style asks for first rights to publish your project, which means the project will not have been featured in any other U.S. design magazine or on the publication’s web site prior to our cover date. Projects that have been completed within the last nine months are preferred.

Submissions should include a range of interior images (usually 12 or more, with no people in them) in high resolution (300 dpi at 8 in. by 10 in. / 20 cm. by 25 cm.). Each image should be labeled with the project name and a brief I.D. A source list for the project and an accompanying press kit or press release must also be included. Images can be burned onto a cD or DVD, emailed with a zipped file attached, uploaded to our FTP site or made available via a link to high resolution images in your gallery.

If you’re targeting a specific issue, keep in mind that we compile issues three to four months in advance of the publication date.
