Welcome to Lancaster Royal Grammar School’s
Auction of Promises
Saturday 21 November 2015 at 7pm
We are very grateful to the Friends of LRGS who have organised this
Auction of Promises and to parents and Old Lancastrians who have donated
so many fabulous Promises. Special thanks also to our Auctioneer for the
evening, Paddy Earnshaw, OL. We hope that we can do justice to all their
efforts by encouraging you to bid generously.
We want to raise at least £25,000 which will help us to renovate the damp,
cold, shabby, and dingy Assembly Hall and convert it into an attractive,
welcoming and professional space which will benefit current and future pupils
as well as the local community.
Tickets for the Auction are restricted so please buy them in advance, either
from the City View Reception at school, or by credit card by phoning 01524
580608 or, for parents, by logging on to Wisepay on the school website.
Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis.
Please use the enclosed bidding form on the night of the Auction to record
your bids.
If you are unable to attend but wish to bid for an item(s) please complete the
absentee bid form and place it inside a sealed envelope, clearly marked
Absentee Bid and post it to Jenny Cornell, LRGS, East Road, Lancaster LA1
3EF by Monday 16th November.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the Auction, donating time,
pledges and bidding. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 21st
November at 7pm for a fun, enjoyable and fast moving evening.
Please bid generously.
