King of Hearts RaffleJohn Madden won but he didn’t win! Pres. Darin requested that actual auction items be brought to the meeting as Doug’s office is not available as of now as his wife is not well. We need a new place to store the items.

Thanksgiving parade donations set a new record-$8961.00 collected !!!!!!!!!! Auction Stuff V.P. Dennis began the 2016 auction kickoff with a stirring rendition of Georgia Satellite’s song “Keep Your Hands To Yourself.” Folders were passed out with all the paperwork everyone needs to start preparing for the auction. Dennis mention the need to stretch ourselves to reach new businesses, new donors, help on cameras is needed. Last year we had 562 items; let’s boost that to 700.

Leon mentioned corporate sponsors. Hee is willing to call on any leads and answer any questions potential sponsors may have - all it takes to be a sponsor is $500.00. Sponsors receive recognition in the newspaper as well as continual mention throughout the weekend on the boards. Past Pres. Andy said, put the “Fun in Fundraising.” Be creative and have fun! There will be no meeting on 12/28. Holiday Party - December 11 Exciting news at the holiday party - two new Paul Harris Fellows, David Sherwood and Chris Lopes were awarded their pins and certificates on the dance floor.

Rotarians had a great time - lots of dancing and laughs.
