DESCRIPTION
The Australian Commonwealth has another superb selection with everything from monograms and imprints to a wide range of varieties including quite a few plated bi-colour Roos. The Kangaroo specimens are very popular at the moment and we pleased to offer another useful group. As always there is a terrific range of covers with some very fine stamp usage lots, rare postal rates and desirable First Day Covers and Commemorative covers. We take a lot of trouble to get our illustrations as close as possible to the lot descriptions so you don’t have to hunt for the illustration. This auction catalogue is the best we have done in that respect. Section 1 will start at 10:00am (Lots 1-591 - Collections and World A-Z) Section 2 will start at 1:00pm (Lots 592-1363 - Australian Colonies/States, Kangaroos & KGV) Section 3 will start at 4:00pm (Lots 1364-1908 - Balance of Australia & Territories)
